This article explains how to use Cron Expressions in scheduling Rules Engine. Gainsight recommends that you refer to the Schedule and Execute Rules article and then proceed with this article.
Advanced Scheduler in Rules Engine uses Cron Expressions to schedule Rules. This enables you to schedule the rule runs more frequently, as compared to the existing (basic) scheduler. Rules can be run more than once per day. Some of the advanced use cases include running the rules as frequently as every two hours and every 1st and 15th of a month.
Note: The minimum time period between rule runs is two hours.
